About Us
For over 50 years, the Kysar Agency has been growing its reputation as the most stable, innovative, risk management corporation around. From humble roots as a one man operation, the agency now employees dozens of people, serves thousands of customers and plays a major role in our community. Our founder Ray Kysar spent 6 terms as a NM Senator, helping landowners, the Oil and Gas Economy, and building our own industry statewide. His son Robert Kysar has continued the tradition of community involvement and has served on County Planning Committees, Connie Mack boards, and as the president of the Independent Agents Association.
Our remaining staff brings over 330 years of industry experience to the table, as well as expertise in Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Human Resources, Municipality Governance, Professional Golfing, and a local retired Police Detective. We draw on these strengths and emphasize continuing education, by encouraging and paying for advancement. Our staff is currently pursuing degrees in accounting, HR, and an MBA, with several others working on advanced professional designations.
